We (Hop Growers of America) have added this new section to our website to serve as a resource for brewers across the world. Here you will find information, tips, and resources to help you learn more about brewing with and incorporating American Hops into your brewery’s production program. Since this is a new addition, we are still adding things so check back often for updates!

We primarily connect with brewers across the globe through our Trade Education and Communication (TEC) program. We hold brewing contests, travel to key trade shows, and send knowledgeable, renowned Brewmasters to speak to students at some of the best brewing schools in the world and at key events for craft brewers in select markets – and we always bring beer and hops with us!
You can find us at some of the world’s key brewing trade shows: Craft Brewers Conference in the U.S., BrauBeviale/Drinktec in Germany, and at Brasil Brau. Stop by to say hi, smell some hops, taste some beer, and grab hop samples to take back to the brewery for experimentation along with our buyers guide and educational materials. We usually have some growers with us as well, so you can geek out with them on all things hops you’ve been curious about.
Our annual brewing contests challenge professional brewers to ply their craft at brewing the best beer utilizing that year’s chosen beer style and hop lineup. We supply the hops to 10 lucky breweries and they come back with amazing new recipes to be judged by experienced beer judges. Winners get bragging rights and a prize – and many times a popular new recipe on their tap list!
We also collaborate with international brewing schools to bring technical/educational seminars to brewing students led by renowned American brewers.
We love well-brewed, hop forward beers and want to provide whatever resources we can to like-minded individuals who are looking to spread the love in their own communities – even if it is just by providing samples of new hops and beers that inspire new, delicious creations.
