2021 American Hop Convention Room Block is Open

The Idaho Hop Growers Association is excited to host the 65th Annual American Hop Convention, January 20-22, 2021, and Hop Research Council Winter Meeting on January 19-20, 2021. These events will be held in beautiful Santa Rosa, CA at the Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country. Sonoma County is home to some amazing breweries including Russian River Brewing Company – brewer of this year’s official convention beer. Santa Rosa can also be considered the home of the automated hop picking machine, which has helped to grow and revolutionize the modern hop industry.

Guest rooms are available now at the convention group rate of $199 single/double, $224 triple, and $249 quad occupancy + tax per night. This rate will also be available for three days before and after the convention for those wishing to extend their visit to wine country. Please reserve your room by 12/27/2020 to ensure the convention room rate. Guests will enjoy complimentary in-room high-speed internet, use of the hotel fitness center and jogging trail, 24-hour room service, and several on-site restaurants. The room block is now available to make your reservations: Click here to book your hotel room. You may also reserve by phone: 707.284.1234 and be sure to reference the “2021 American Hop Convention.”  If you have any questions, please contact Malissa Gatton: mgatton@wahops.org

The Idaho Convention Committee is working hard to bring you excellent speakers and program elements to this event, including Keynote Speaker Damian Mason! Damian Mason is an Agriculturist. His presentation is a fast-paced mix of Ag economist, futurist, talk show host, and comedian. Damian addresses the "F" words of Agriculture: farming, food, fights, fair trade, foodies, feelings, food police, finance, and the future of our industry. The content is constantly evolving along with the Ag industry and news of today.

Plan to stay a few extra days to enjoy California Wine Country!
