2019 USDA-NASS Hop Acreage Report Released

Today the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service released the 2019 Hop Acreage report covering Washington, Oregon and Idaho.  Highlights include:

  • Pacific Northwest acreage increased 2,304 acres, or 4.18%, with a total of 57,339 acres
  • Washington acreage increased 2,093 acres or 5.34%, with a total of 41,263 acres
  • Idaho acreage increased 430 acres or 5.28%, with a total of 8,570 acres
  • Oregon acreage decreased 219 acres or 2.83%, with a total of 7,506 acres
  • CitraR widened its lead as the #1 acreage variety, with 9,035 acres reported in the three states (up from 6,382 acres last year, an increase of 2,653 acres or 41.57%).
