2023 Hop Production Up 2% From Last Year
Production for Idaho, Oregon, and Washington in 2023 totaled 104 million pounds, up 2 percent from the 2022 crop of
102 million pounds. Combined area harvested for Idaho, Oregon, and Washington in 2023 totaled 54,318 acres,
down 10 percent from the previous year. Harvested acreage decreased in Oregon, Idaho and Washington. The United
States hop yield, at 1,915 pounds per acre, is up 221 pounds from a year ago.
